Hi there and welcome to Seriously Sensory, a place where every unique difference is celebrated.

Seriously Sensory is an online retailer of sensory and educational resources for people from all walks of life, no matter their age or experience.

Our Founder, Melinda has one son whom in 2017 was diagnosed as a child on the Autism Spectrum. 

During her new chapter of motherhood, Melinda knew nothing about ASD and some of the challenges that it can present, so she began to spend countless hours researching the Spectrum Disorders, combing through parenting articles and reading a multitude of books. However, she was unable to find resources or toys that were matched based on the specific needs her son has, like a soft textured putty that outlined it it encourages fine motor skill development.

It was then Melinda's decision not to have any other parent feeling as helpless and without knowledge as she did, that is how Seriously Sensory was born.

Seriously Sensory aims to provide information on every product within our store, that outlines 'Why' an item is beneficial and 'What' skills are developed from that item. We also want to ensure that all our products are affordable so that people of all ages will be able to enjoy them.
