Why is learning sight words good for children?
Learning sight words are the most common words that children can generally, recognize instantly without having to sound them out. By developing this recognition by sight, it assists children in becoming faster and more fluent readers.
Learning these sight words by the time they have ended their first year of school will provide your child around half of the words that they will need for reading. The first 100 sight words represent over 50% of the English text.

How to:
Just use a liquid chalk marker or a white board marker, wipe it off and the board is ready to go again. Teach your child to learn to write sight words by using this board.
This board is made from 3mm plywood and has a white acrylic section. Use a white board marker or chalk marker to write on the white section. Wipe off with a cloth. Please don't use an abrasive material. You can use this board over and over again.
*NOTE* Please be aware that mirror acrylic can scratch. To clean the product, please wipe down with a non abrasive cloth. Please do not apply any chemicals to the product.
